About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Senior Laravel Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in PHP and Laravel, experience building scalable and secure web applications, and the ability to take ownership of development projects from requirement analysis through deployment.

The candidate will work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to design, develop, optimize, and maintain high-quality applications.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Laravel Developer with 5–8 years of professional experience in web/application development. You should have strong hands-on expertise in PHP and Laravel, with a solid understanding of MVC architecture, OOP, RESTful APIs, databases, application security, and performance optimization.

You should be comfortable taking ownership of development projects, solving complex technical problems, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and Laravel.
Take ownership of development projects and deliver features within defined timelines.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
Design and optimize MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, including complex queries and indexing.
Implement secure authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, or similar technologies.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
Implement caching and performance improvements using Redis.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues, bugs, and performance problems.
Conduct code reviews and maintain development standards.
Collaborate with frontend developers working with React.js, Angular.js, or other frontend technologies.
Work with Git/GitHub, Apache, Postman, and deployment environments.
Participate in technical discussions, requirement analysis, and solution design.
Maintain technical documentation for applications and APIs.
Mentor and guide junior developers.
