The solution efficiently unifies the entire organization—from sales and support to marketing and commerce—under a single, shared, and trusted customer profile.

This unification is enabled by essential basic technologies. Data Cloud (formerly Customer 360 Truth) serves as the data management and identity resolution layer, consolidating customer information (contact, purchase history, service tickets, web interactions) from all Salesforce clouds and external systems (via MuleSoft integration) and assigning a unique Global Profile ID (GPID) to each user. This ensures that when a client interacts with the brand across many channels or devices, all data is tied back to a single accurate record.
